Our cosmetics client is seeking a Laboratory Technician for their site in the Chicago area. The ideal candidate will possess experience with aseptic techniques. Recent grads are encouraged to apply!

Shift:  M-F 3pm-11:30pm
Type: Contract-to-hire (6 month)
Pay: $24-$28/hr.

Summary
To provide product quality evaluation and assist Analytical Chemists.

Job Details
  1. Test incoming raw chemicals.
  2. Test line start up samples.
  3. Test finished good line samples.
  4. Follow and observe batch transfer procedure.
  5. Test and receive incoming tankers.
  6. Notify lab lead, supervisor, or manager of any OOS results.
  7. Maintain and organize retain samples for Analytical Lab.
  8. Observe safety rules.
  9. Follow cGMP.
  10. Special projects as assigned.
The above must be successfully executed and demonstrated with precision and accuracy to move to Chemist I.

Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in HBA, Cosmetic or Drug industry or equivalent.
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Good Computer Skills.
  • Fluent in English (reading & speaking)
  • Cooperative
  • Reliable Attendance.
