QC Analytical Scientist

As a QC Analytical Scientist, you'll identify and troubleshoot technical issues, conduct routine testing, and analyze samples. You'll ensure compliance with regulations, complete projects on time and within budget, and provide guidance to junior staff. Your primary focus will be on method validation and quality control testing.
Responsibilities:
- Generate accurate data using validated methods in a cGMP environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various wet chemical techniques and instruments such as Infrared and UV/Visible Spectroscopy, Gas Chromatography, and High Pressure Liquid Chromatography.
- Document deviations and out-of-specification results promptly and thoroughly.
- Conduct special projects, including data compilation and report generation.
- Collaborate with vendors for instrument maintenance and method qualification.
- Execute and qualify protocols, and draft in-house test standards and methods.
- Troubleshoot instruments and methods, and perform investigative testing when needed.
- Train colleagues in various methodologies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Adhere to safety regulations in the laboratory.
- Flexibility in schedule and willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a cGMP analytical laboratory.
