Our esteemed client, a trailblazing global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of an exceptional Scientist to join their dynamic team.

Pay: $40-$48/hr

Responsibilities

• Measure protein concentration using absorbance and calculate dilutions.
• Manually aliquot and label purified protein vials for storage.
• Support vialing of protein solutions with bio-microlab instruments.
• Safely handle OEB4 and OEB5 compounds, following safety protocols.
• Prepare solutions and buffers according to SOPs.
• Aliquot, label, store samples, and perform basic ADC QC following SOPs.
• Handle important, sensitive samples; wet lab experience required.
• Protein characterization experience preferred.
• Characterize proteins (mAb and ADC) using CE-SDS, Mass Spectrometry, and SEC with training.
• Track and document maintenance and instrument repair service calls.
• Record data in an electronic lab notebook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4-6 years of experience
• Master’s or PhD with 2-3 years of experience in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, life sciences, or related fields
• Wet lab experience required
• Calculate protein concentrations and dilutions
• Experience with protein characterization
• Experience with Mass Spectrometry (MS)
