Analytical Chemist Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely analysis of production samples following analytical procedures.
- Develop, establish, and validate analytical testing methodologies for raw materials, production intermediates, and final products.
- Document analytical methods in technical reports and transfer to Quality Control Department.
- Implement new or existing analytical methods for identification of compounds.
- Maintain all laboratory instruments.
- Coordinate off-site testing when necessary.
- Follows laboratory guidelines and safety requirements.
Analytical Chemist Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Required
- Minimum 2-4 years of professional industry experience.
- Experience in analytical methods and lab instrumentation (e.g. GC, GC/MS, titrators, Analyzers)
- Chemical or Oil and Gas Refinery Experience Preferred.
