Our client, who develops its consumer products business for general consumers, is looking for a batch maker to join their ever growing team!

Pay: $16.50/HR
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7-4

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates ink-making machinery and equipment.
  • Reads and interprets batch tickets and adhering to work processes and procedures.
  • Processes and completes documentation accurately by recording information on batch tickets, labels containers, packages inks and inspects customer products per requirements.
  • Meets production schedules and metrics and ensuring quality products are produced. 
  • Follows all safety and regulatory compliance procedures.
  • Attends all required meetings and training.
  • Maintains adherence to  standards at all times.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement according to the culture.
  • Inventory control activities.
  • Loads and unloads
  • Other duties as assigned by production management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience and/or Education Requirements:
  • Employee must have a high school degree or equivalent.     
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
  • Prior experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment is preferred.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Operate a Powered Industrial Truck (forklift, pallet jacks, lift trucks, etc).   Training to operate industrial trucks is provided by the company.
  • Sound judgment to make decisions regarding the sequence of setups, operations and processes within the limitations of standard operating. 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.  Specifically, the Ink Manufacturer must be able to:
  • Frequently lift 25-50 pounds. Roll and maneuver drums of product between 500 to 550 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 
  • Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, fumes, and other elements associated with a typical warehouse environment.
