Job Title: Scientist III, Mass Spectrometry/Analyst, Discovery Neuroscience

Location: Montgomery County, PA

Pay: $40-47/hr

Qualifications:

• PhD with industry or academic experience, or MSc with at least 2-3 years of industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in developing and validating quantitative LC-MS/MS assays using MRM/PRM acquisition.
• Experience in data analysis for relative and absolute quantification.
• Expertise in sample processing and prefractionation for cell, tissue, and fluid specimens.
• Experience with automated liquid handling platforms.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, with well-developed oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate mass spectrometry-based assays for preclinical drug development, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams to discover novel drug targets and develop biomarkers for clinical translation.
• Support follow-on validation of discovery data for biomarker development.
• Engage in a team environment, demonstrating a drive for learning and innovation in assay development.
• Apply technical expertise in quantitative mass spectrometry assays to advance biomarker discovery and support therapeutic development.
