Location: Hybrid/Remote Raleigh, NC

The Interface Engineer implements and deploys technically complex software solutions in clients’ SaaS environments. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining healthcare interfaces in Rhapsody and ensuring the successful implementation of interface solutions while following best practices and efficient processes.

The Interface Engineer implements and deploys technically complex software solutions in clients’ SaaS environments. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining healthcare interfaces in Rhapsody and ensuring the successful implementation of interface solutions while following best practices and efficient processes.
Essential Functions
- Lead and execute interface projects, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Install and configure interface solutions using Rhapsody in a SaaS environment, ensuring that projects are properly implemented per clients best practices.
- Work with sites to complete necessary specifications and ensure that projects stay within scope.
- Analyze and understand urgent or critical problems, escalating to peers and/or management, as necessary.
- Perform testing on implementations and other solutions developed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in interface engineering implementation and maintenance in with Azure/Cloud/SaaS environments.
- Experience with software programming
- Experience in the healthcare, laboratory, and/or scientific industry is highly desirable.
- Strong background in HL7, ASTM, JSON, PL/SQL, SQL, C#, Scripting Languages,
- Knowledge of Network Protocols and Communications (TCP/IP, terminal servers, DB9 and DB25 cabling), file sharing, and SFTP
