Our client, a leader in metals testing, is seeking a Chemist I for their Harrisburg, PA location, offering a pay rate of $20/hr. The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in a related field, laboratory analysis experience, and familiarity with ICP, OE, ICPMS, WDXRF. Industry experience as an intern is also acceptable.
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $20/hr

Responsibilities:
- Perform all functions of a Laboratory Technician
- Strong background in analytical chemistry and its applications
- Ability to work independently
- Participate in training other laboratory personnel
- Engage in ongoing training (both in-house and external)
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- Preferred experience in ICP, OE, ICPMS, WDXRF
- Familiarity with all phases of laboratory analysis
- Ability to apply complex analytical methods
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in developing new methods
- Ability to train and provide guidance to Chemist I personnel
