Our client, a growing nutraceutical company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support efficient, safe production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. 

Shift: Sun-Thurs 9pm-5:30am
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and electronic systems to ensure equipment efficiency.
• Lead and train Maintenance I Technicians and provide indirect support to Production personnel.
• Order and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate closely with Production Leads, Supervisors, and Maintenance staff.
• Perform emergency and scheduled repairs on plant utilities and equipment, including facilities systems like HVAC, chillers, and boilers.
• Install new equipment, perform machinery setup, and make running adjustments for production.
• Diagnose, prioritize, and resolve equipment issues during production, focusing on minimizing downtime.
• Adhere to FDA/cGMP standards and complete required annual certifications.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Manufacturing Technology or minimum HS Diploma + technical classes related to maintenance.
• Experience with gearboxes, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Preventative maintenance expertise and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Industry experience in pharma, food manufacturing, nutraceutical, or biotech (no residential maintenance experience).
• Low voltage experience (240-480V) preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA/cGMP environments.

Additional Notes:

• Must be available for on-call shifts and occasional 6-7 day workweeks as required.
