Pay: $28-$36, depending on experience
Shift: M-F 7am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and production teams to develop effective inspection and test methods.
  • Represent the Quality team in project meetings, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
  • Identify and implement inspection techniques that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Train associates on quality practices, acceptance criteria, and measurement techniques.
  • Prepare reports, document test results, and create customer-required control plans.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training for visual inspection, GD&T, and quality practices.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 quality system requirements.
  • Oversee external calibration coordination and implement receiving inspection procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; a two-year technical degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (medical device industry experience a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Minitab and ERP/MRP systems preferred.
  • Formal training in Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • ASQ certifications (CQI, CQT, CQE) are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 13485, FDA GMP requirements, and statistical techniques.
  • Expertise in dimensional inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM programming).
