Pay: $23-25/hr DOE

Schedule: 2/2/3 6a-6pm

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, monitor, and measure materials, products, and processes, including incoming raw materials, purchased goods, manufacturing processes, finished goods, stored items, and pre-shipment inspections.
  • Perform simple algebra and percentage calculations to analyze test data.
  • Sign off on or maintain inspection records, focusing on problematic, complex, or new products.
  • Verify batch tickets and procedures to ensure compliance with established standards and protocols.
  • Make recommendations for changes to improve product quality, such as adjustments to temperatures, pressures, sampling procedures, or assembly processes.
  • Take samples at designated points according to batch ticket instructions, including gluing, assembly, label placement, and parts inspection.
  • Ensure nonconforming products are appropriately quarantined and tagged for further action.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a quality control laboratory setting preferred.
  • Understanding of laboratory equipment, testing methods, and quality control procedures.
