QC Lab Technician (3rd shift)

Our client is an industry/global leader in fragrances as well as taste. Their sole purpose is to provide customers with a broad range of solutions that meet the demand for clean, organic, and natural ingredients. This company is looking for a QC Laboratory Technician to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies in the flavor and fragrances industry.

Pay: $23/hr
Schedule: 3rd shift M-F (10:30p-7am)

Responsibilities:
  • Perform chemical and analytical testing of products or incoming ingredients.
  • Enter test results into SAP timely resulting in an acceptance or rejection.
  • Communicate rejections and information updates to key contacts in Quality, Operations, Purchasing and Customer Care as needed.
  • Perform basic equipment calibrations per frequency noted in calibration procedures.
  • Perform instruments, equipment and quality deviations troubleshooting in laboratory.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in QC and set proactive measures for trouble prevention
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science or related life sciences degree.
  • 0-2 years of experience with GC, HPLC, weighing balances, Densitometer, Refractometer, Moisture balances, or Karl Fischer titrators.
