Job Title: Laboratory Technician - Spatial Biology Lab
Location: Ridgefield, CT
Job Type: 1 year contract, onsite
Pay rate: $33/hr. - $34/ hr.


Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our Spatial Biology Lab team. The role involves performing experimental work, including tissue processing, immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), and imaging in both single and multiplex assays. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform experimental procedures in the Spatial Biology Lab, including sectioning of FFPE (formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded) tissue blocks.
  • Conduct IHC and ISH assays, both single and multiplex formats, and handle tissue samples appropriately.
  • Operate imaging equipment for high-quality data collection.
  • Document all experimental work in a laboratory notebook, ensuring compliance with lab protocols.
  • Assist with data analysis and interpretation as needed.
  • Prepare reagents and maintain inventory for the lab.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology, or similar), or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Previous experience in histotechnology, specifically with IHC and ISH techniques.
  • Strong experience with histotechnology, including tissue sectioning, IHC, and ISH assays.
  • Familiarity with both single and multiplex assay techniques.
  • Proficient in using imaging equipment and supporting analysis.
