Direct Hire
Location: Middlesex County, MA
Pay:
- $26-28/hr
- PLUS $2.50/hr shift differential for evening shifts
- Additional $1.50/hr for weekend hours
Schedules Available:
Sun-Wed 6pm-4:30am
Wed-Sat 6pm-4:30am
Tue-Fri 10pm-8:30am
Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Perform tests across various laboratory specialties following prescribed procedures and calculate results as necessary.
- Operate, calibrate, conduct performance checks, and maintain laboratory analyzers or equipment.
- Identify and correct basic analyzer malfunctions; notify management as needed.
- Prepare reagents or media according to prescribed procedures.
- Evaluate media, reagents, and calibrators based on established criteria.
- Conduct quality control procedures on analytical tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products; implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Perform instrument maintenance, QC reagent preparation, and kit management.
- Conduct routine testing, including assay validations.
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
- 0-2 years of related experience in laboratory settings.
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, equipment, and techniques of medical technology.
- Understanding of chemistry, biology, and bacteriology principles as related to medical technology.
- Must be COVID vaccinated.
