A longstanding premier food manufacturing company is seeking a PLC Technician to join their growing team on a temp to hire basis. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a team that is developing groundbreaking products to support healthier living!

Pay: $35-$38/hr 

Schedule: M-F 2:30p-11p

Location: McDonough, GA

Responsibilities:

• Development, integration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment controls systems, interfaces and networks.
• Diagnose and prioritize problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust machinery
• Development, integration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment control systems, interfaces, and networks.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network problems.
• Troubleshoot electrical power and PLC controls to support plant operations.
• Develop and foster strong relationships with Corporate Engineering in order to build and evolve current systems architecture.

• B.S. in software or electrical engineering OR Associates degree in the same field with related experience
• Prior experience with industrial controls is preferred
• Experience with food processing and packaging equipment preferred.
• Experience with troubleshooting PLC Machinery, Conveyors, Hydraulic systems, Or Pneumatics
