Title: ML Engineer - Medical Imaging 
Position Type: Contract Role
Location: Bay Area preferred (onsite) or remote (Pacific Time availability required)
Pay: $50-$63/hour 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated deep learning architectures for medical image analysis, focusing on segmentation tasks and object detection methodologies
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams including data scientists, domain experts, clinical researchers, and medical professionals to integrate AI solutions into research workflows
• Process and analyze complex biomedical datasets to extract actionable insights supporting pharmaceutical research and study design
• Maintain expertise in emerging ML techniques and their healthcare applications
• Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations

Required Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent quantitative discipline

Professional Experience: Demonstrated success developing and implementing advanced ML systems in research or commercial environments

Technical Competencies:

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (JAX, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Hands-on experience with ML operations including version control systems, distributed computing platforms, and experiment tracking solutions
• Proven ability to architect and deploy end-to-end ML pipelines for scientific applications
