Job Title: Material Handler
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6a-530p and Friday's they are working 5a-10a : Standard schedule is Monday-Thursday 6a-430 with Friday's off
Pay: $17.00/hr. - $20.00/hr.
**NOTE: This is not a forklift operator role. The position involves manual labor, moving steel or brass tubes by hand. While a crane is available for heavier items, the majority of material handling is done manually. Candidates must be comfortable with physical work, able to read numbers accurately, and verify packing slips to ensure correct product packing.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. This individual will be responsible for receiving incoming dry pipe materials, preparing and staging pipes for chemical plating, and ensuring accurate, timely shipment of finished products to our customers. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-minded, and experienced in a fast-paced industrial warehouse environment.
Receiving:
- Unload incoming shipments of dry pipe
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report findings.
- Accurately record all received inventory and coordinate with the plating team for staging
- Move pipe from the receiving area to designated plating prep areas using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure proper flow of materials to and from the plating process.
- Prepare completed pipe for shipment, including tagging, wrapping, and loading onto trucks.
- Ensure all shipments are accurately documented and meet customer specifications.
- Communicate with logistics partners and internal teams regarding schedules and requirements.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
- Maintain organized and clean storage areas for both raw and finished materials.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage and forklift protocols.
- Report any hazards or incidents promptly to the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping/receiving role (oilfield experience a plus).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
- Knowledge of oilfield materials (pipe types, sizes, standards) is a plus.
