Our client is a chemical product distributor and is seeking a talented Warehouse Lead who will be responsible for supporting the their client site in Fayette County!. This role plays a key part in coordinating personnel, maintaining safety and compliance, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment!

Located in Fayette County, OH

1 year contract with extension
First Shift: 7am-4pm
Pay: $21.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily startup meetings to communicate goals, safety reminders, and task assignments.

• Direct and guide team members on daily operational tasks, providing clear instruction and oversight.

• Monitor accumulation and proper handling of waste and recyclable materials throughout the day.

• Coordinate with the Supervisor to track inventory levels and assist with scheduling shipments.

• Ensure all containers are labeled and stored according to safety and regulatory standards.

• Oversee the loading and unloading of van trailers containing recyclables and waste materials.

• Assign and inspect cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure cleanliness and efficiency of the facility.

• Understand the responsibilities of each direct report and step in when coverage is needed.

• Perform special assignments and support tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Proven experience in warehouse or industrial environments, with outdoor work exposure.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in a physically demanding environment.
