Pay: $29-$36/hr
Schedule: 1st shift
Type of role: 6 months contract; possible extension
Location: Johns Creek, GA

Research Scientist daily tasks:
Performs daily batch preparation of formulations and intermediates, including documentation throughout the process. Conducts polymer formulation, characterization, and processing in a research lab.
Records detailed experimental data—materials, procedures, results, and analyses—in lab notebooks, memos, or reports, and communicates findings to project teams.
Handles chemicals per MSDS, SOP, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal HSE guidelines.
Applies statistical methods to plan experiments and analyze data.
Research Scientist Requirements:
Background in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical engineering, process engineering
Formulation and process experience with hydrogel and contact lens care are desired
Previous Work experience on chemistry/material science industries such as adhesives, coatings, UV curatives and/or regulated medical devices are desired
