Our client, a dynamic biopharmaceutical company with a global footprint in both R&D and manufacturing, is seeking a Pharmaceutical Operations Warehouse Specialist to join their growing team.

Type: Contract to hire 
Location: Middlesex County, NJ
Pay: $28-$31/hr

Duties:
  • Perform core warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory counts, supply ordering, recordkeeping, organization, and maintaining cleanliness, in compliance with departmental schedules, cGMP, quality, and safety standards.
  • Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and shipping documents, complete transactions, and deliver items to appropriate departments, notifying requesters upon arrival.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies; document issues and coordinate with purchasing for resolution.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, complete documentation, and arrange pickups with third-party carriers; provide tracking and delivery updates to relevant teams.
  • Support inventory tasks such as receiving, storage assignment, issuing, and dispensing raw materials as needed.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records for receiving, shipping, and inventory.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles, use hand tools, complete daily equipment checks, and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Stay current on warehouse procedures and support ongoing process improvements.
  • Follow cGMP, quality, and safety regulations, and maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace.
  • Participate in routine warehouse cleaning, housekeeping, and additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–3 years of warehouse experience in the pharmaceutical industry required.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP, DEA, and safety regulations required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic computer applications.
