The Lab Coordinator will support the R&D team by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment. This role is essential for ensuring that sanitation protocols are consistently followed, equipment is properly maintained, and supplies are adequately stocked. The Lab Coordinator will work closely with R&D Scientists to provide hands-on support with ingredient handling, basic testing, and day-to-day lab operations with a key focus on cleanliness, safety, and organization.

Pay: 21/hr.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
Terms: Contract to Hire
 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards across all laboratory areas

• Clean and sanitize lab surfaces, equipment, tools, and utensils following established protocols

• Organize lab supplies and materials, monitor inventory levels, and restock as necessary

• Assist with ingredient setup and basic preparation for experiments (non-baking)

• Safely dispose of waste materials and samples in compliance with lab policies

• Ensure all lab spaces comply with hygiene and safety regulations

• Support documentation by labeling, filing, and updating records as directed

• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and well-maintained work environment

• Perform other support tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Associate Degree

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Reliable and proactive with the ability to work independently

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with basic lab safety and sanitation practices is a plus
