Our client is seeking a motivated Chemist to join their state-of-the-art laboratory team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone eager to deepen their experience in physical and analytical testing within a GMP-regulated environment. If you enjoy working with precision instruments and want to contribute to high-quality product development, this role is an excellent fit.

In this position, you will perform analytical and physical testing of in-process, bulk, stability, and finished product samples. Your work will directly support product quality, formulation development, and regulatory compliance.

Shift: M-F 6:30am–3:00pm 
Pay: Up to $25/hr

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct a variety of physical and wet chemistry tests, including water content (KF titration), water activity, melting point, viscosity, pH, specific gravity, and density.

  • Coordinate stability studies in collaboration with chemists.

  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions as required.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation and retain samples in accordance with GMP standards.

  • Uphold laboratory safety practices, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste.

Training & Support

You’ll receive structured onboarding focused on SOP review, lab procedures, and quality expectations, ensuring you’re set up for success from day one.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with cosmetic physical testing (pH, viscosity, specific gravity).

  • Working knowledge of wet chemistry and analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-VIS, titrations, raw material testing).

  • Prior experience in GMP-regulated environments.

  • Background in cosmetics is ideal; candidates from pharma, food & beverage, nutraceutical, environmental, or chemical industries are encouraged to apply.

  • Minimum 6 months of relevant laboratory experience.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline preferred.
