Rate: $22 - $24/hr dependent on experience
Location: York County, SC
Summary:
The Chemical Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor process systems (reactors, distillation units, filters, pumps, centrifuges, etc.) according to standard procedures.

Load and unload raw materials and finished products.

Adjust controls, valves, and instruments to maintain proper temperature, pressure, and flow.

Record process data, equipment readings, and shift activity.

Troubleshoot and report equipment or process issues.

Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

Collect samples and verify product quality.

Operate forklifts and handle drums or containers safely.

Follow all safety, quality, and environmental (HSEQ) requirements and wear appropriate PPE.

Support other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing environment preferred.
