About the Role:
Are you passionate about quality and eager to be part of a collaborative laboratory environment? Join our team as a Quality Control Technician and play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our products. You’ll support daily testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods- helping us deliver excellence with every batch.

Location: Montgomery County, OH
Pay: $26–$28/hr
Type: Contract to Hire

Schedule:
  • 3 days per week plus 1 day every other weekend (rotating days for 24x7 coverage). (4pm-4am)


What You’ll Do:
  • Perform routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established SOPs.
  • Support daily checks, basic calibrations, and upkeep of laboratory equipment—reporting any issues promptly to senior staff.
  • Maintain precise lab records, logs, and documentation in compliance with GLP and company quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production operators by conducting in-process tests and communicating results or concerns to the lab supervisor.
  • Follow all safety procedures and good laboratory practices, adhering to ISO 9001, FSSC 22000/ISO 22002, and cGXP guidelines as applicable.
  • Assist senior analysts with sample and reagent preparation, instrument setup, and day-to-day lab housekeeping.
  • Participate in shift hand-overs by clearly communicating completed work, outstanding tasks, and any issues.
  • Provide support to Quality Assurance with basic data or documentation needs.
Who You Are:
  • High school graduate or equivalent (required).
  • Experience in a laboratory, production, or chemical handling environment (preferred but not required; we’re willing to train the right candidate).
  • Comfortable working in a regulated (GXP, etc.) setting.
  • Computer literate and adept at keeping organized, accurate records.
  • Familiar with basic lab techniques (weighing, pH measurement, titrations, instrumentation) is a plus.
  • Able to follow written procedures precisely, with strong attention to detail.
  • Eager to learn about analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, titrators, and more.
  • Reliable communicator, able to work independently and as part of a team.
