Pay: $24/hr

Type of Job: Contract to Hire

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 3:30pm- 2am

Responsibilities:

• Execute quality tests on all products produced.
• Elevate deviations discovered in product testing.
• Place out of specification batches and raw materials on hold.
• Maintain documentation used in the QC lab daily.
• Conduct daily and weekly calibration of lab equipment.
• Inform QA Supervisor or Manager when equipment needs to be sent out for calibration.
• Inform QA Supervisor or Manager when supplies need to be reordered. Retrieve in-house supplies from warehouse when needed.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of laboratory and testing experience required.
• Quality Assurance experience in a regulated production environment required; experience in food manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• SQF and/or HACCP certification is highly desired.
