Patient Access Representative Daily Tasks: What you will do:
- Supports high-volume patient scheduling and coordinates communication between patients and care teams.
- Manages inbound/outbound calls, emails, faxes, and messages with timely and compassionate service.
- Processes referrals, identifies and manages crisis situations, and collects accurate caller information.
- Follows established procedures and scripts while navigating scheduling and EMR systems to ensure smooth patient care coordination.
Patient Access Representative Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office/healthcare setting or call/contact center
- Experience supporting high call volume and patient scheduling
- 5–10 years preferred
