We are seeking a full-time QC Lab Technician to support our expanding operations. This role is responsible for conducting laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods; maintaining proper documentation; and ensuring compliance with internal QC standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, detailed, and able to work independently in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Location: Orange County CA 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20–$22/hr 
Start Date: ASAP


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct QC testing on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products.

  • Perform stability testing on finished goods.

  • Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.

  • Perform basic wet chemistry procedures.

  • Collect samples from production batches.

  • Monitor in-process batches and verify pre-weighed raw material weights before manufacturing.

  • Prepare and ship samples to third-party laboratories.

  • Record test results, organize data, and perform basic calculations.

  • Generate reports and analyses following standard QC procedures.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for QC and regulatory needs.

  • Inspect and verify equipment, filling documentation, and finished product before and after filling.

  • Organize and maintain inventory of raw materials, components, and lab supplies.


Requirements & Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • 1+ years of experience in a QC, R&D, or analytical laboratory.

  • Experience in personal care, cosmetics, or nutraceuticals.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Docs.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

  • HS diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with analytical techniques and instrumentation.
  • Start-up or fast-paced environment experience.
