Our client, a world-renowned research institution, is seeking an Environmental Monitoring Technician to join their team on a contract basis.
 

Type: Contract

Location: Los Angeles County, CA

Rate: $25 - $33/hr

 

Duties:

  • Operate various equipment within GMP-regulated environments to support production and quality operations.
  • Accurately document all activities, procedures, and outcomes in accordance with established protocols.
  • Follow and enforce proper documentation standards throughout all job functions.
  • Read, understand, and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records, including laboratory notebooks, quality logs, and sample tracking.
  • Complete all mandatory training programs to ensure compliance and proficiency.
  • Assist and guide team members on SOPs, control documents, and other relevant work instructions.
  • Coordinate with support teams to ensure smooth operational workflow.
  • Conduct routine audits of SOPs and work instructions to maintain adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Perform scheduled environmental or process sampling and input associated data accurately.
  • Adhere to gowning protocols by wearing sterile garments and personal protective equipment (PPE) as dictated by specific tasks.
  • Interpret technical diagrams, drawings, and schematics relevant to the work environment.
  • Identify and recommend corrective actions to ensure equipment and work areas remain compliant with regulatory requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences.
  • One to two years of experience in a pharmaceutical production environment.
  • Knowledge of cGMPs and FDA policies / procedures.
