Pharmaceutical Logistics Specialist
Start Date: January 26, 2026
Expected Duration: Contract through July 20, 2026
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (2nd Shift)
Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day, 5 days per week)
Compensation: $20-$26/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team for a temporary assignment. This role is responsible for the accurate execution of order fulfillment activities, inventory management, and maintaining operational standards within a regulated warehouse environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute complete order fulfillment processes including selection, packaging, staging, weighing, and loading of products for shipment using handheld scanning technology.
- Generate and maintain all required shipping and handling documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of operational supplies and communicate replenishment needs to supervision.
- Maintain organized work areas with adequate stock of necessary materials.
- Support preparation activities for scheduled compliance inspections and assessments.
- Conduct daily inventory verification counts for assigned zones using handheld technology and collaborate with inventory teams to resolve discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) warehouse operations.
Essential Skills & Abilities:
- Strong reading comprehension with ability to follow multi-step written processes and apply information to complex situations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills when interacting with colleagues and leadership.
- Proficiency in computer-based data entry, handheld device transactions, and information retrieval systems.
- Competency in basic mathematical calculations using calculators (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rounding).
- Commitment to maintaining accurate physical and electronic documentation.
- Capability to operate warehouse equipment including manual pallet jacks, pallet transfer equipment, bundling machines, strapping tools, wrapping systems, scales, and conveyor systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Experience with SAP or comparable enterprise resource planning systems.
- Regularly lifting and moving items up to 20 pounds
