Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical manufacturer focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference!

Pay: $22/hr
Schedule: 9a-5p
Type of Job: 1 year assignment with possible extension

Responsibilities:

• Testing of in-process and final products
• Microbial testing for environmental monitoring
• Collecting air samples and testing
• Water testing

Prepping and maintenance of supplies

Operating lab equipment

Ordering supplies

Preparing media

Cleaning glassware and running the autoclave
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree – Microbiology preferred OR Associate’s with microbiological experience

Experience with microbiological techniques

Plating samples

Enumeration of bacterial colonies

Gram stain techniques

Experience with LIMS preferred
