Microbiologist Microbiologist I (Contract)

Location: Johns Creek, GA
Duration: 2-Year Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Pay: 28.00-35.00 DOE

Support routine laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of hands-on microbiology lab experience and a strong understanding of standard laboratory practices.

Responsibilities

• Culture, isolate, and identify microorganisms using standard microbiological techniques

• Perform environmental, water, and product testing for microbial contamination

• Operate laboratory equipment and microscopes to analyze samples

• Document test results and prepare technical reports in accordance with SOPs

• Follow GMP, safety, and quality guidelines

• Collaborate with lab technicians, scientists, and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or related field

• 1–2 years of general laboratory or microbiology experience

• Familiarity with GMP or regulated laboratory environments preferred

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

• Long-term contract with potential for extension or conversion
