Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract potential conversion
Schedule: Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
Pay: $40.00- $55.00 DOE

Job Summary:
Seeking a Sr. Calibration Technician to perform and lead calibration activities for Measurement & Test Equipment (M&TE) supporting manufacturing, inspection, and injection molding operations in a regulated (GxP/FDA) environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate and maintain electrical, mechanical, dimensional, and environmental M&TE.

  • Support calibration of manufacturing and inspection equipment including injection molding machines, vision systems, CMMs, automated assembly cells, presses, welders, and packaging equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex measurement issues; perform corrective actions.

  • Manage calibration workload, documentation, and prioritization.

  • Collaborate with Engineering and SMEs to support GxP compliance and audit readiness.

  • Mentor and train junior technicians.

  • Support internal and external audits (FDA/Corporate).

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of calibration experience.

  • Strong knowledge of electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and temperature systems.

  • Experience with metrology uncertainty and test uncertainty ratios.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT).

  • Technical degree or military PMEL training.

  • Experience in cleanroom and ISO-regulated environments.
