The company is looking for a Veterinary Laboratory Associate to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference!
 

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-4p

Location: Aims, Iowa

Type of Job: one year assignment with possibility of extension

 
Responsibilities:

• Prepare labels and label clinical study samples.
• Assist in collection of clinical study samples or necropsy.
• Aliquot clinical study samples. (serum, swab effluents, fecal samples, animal tissue samples).
• Maintain electronic inventory of clinical study samples.
• Accurately record all laboratory activities and techniques on data capture forms, research notebooks, and raw data notebooks as appropriate. 
• Review and contribute to protocols, planning, and execution.
• Create and prepare submissions to diagnostic laboratories and to BIAVRC laboratories.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
• Experience handling veterinary laboratory samples
• Experience with aseptic technique
