Schedule
- 4×10 schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- No weekends
- Limited overtime (Friday work)
The Maintenance Technician supports manufacturing operations by performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems while working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant operation. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in meeting plant productivity and safety goals.
Essential Functions
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; identify root causes and implement effective repairs
- Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize production downtime
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner and MRO Buyer to ensure availability of tools and spare parts
- Accurately document maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and corrective actions in the CMMS
- Follow all safety procedures, conduct equipment safety checks, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1–3 years of CMMS experience managing work orders and maintenance records
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Basic electrical knowledge preferred
- Proficiency with basic computer systems (CMMS, MS Office)
Preferred Certifications
- Industrial Maintenance Certification
- Electrical Certification (Preferred but not required)
