Contract Research Scientist I

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Contract: 6 Months with extension/conversion potential

The Contract Research Scientist I will support analytical testing for medical device development projects in a regulated laboratory environment. The individual will have a background in analytical chemistry and hands-on experience working in an analytical lab.

This role involves executing established procedures to analyze development samples, performing bench chemistry techniques (reagent and buffer preparation, titrations, pipetting), and conducting analytical testing including pH, osmolality, and appearance. The scientist will put products to the test using advanced analytical instrumentation, with a strong emphasis on chromatographic techniques (GC and LC/HPLC).

Responsibilities include accurate data analysis and review, thorough documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and general laboratory upkeep including equipment and instrumentation. The individual will work under general supervision, collaborate with cross-functional team members, and receive technical guidance from senior staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience (Chemistry preferred)

  • Experience in analytical chemistry and bench chemistry

  • Hands-on experience with chromatography (GC, LC/HPLC) and laboratory instrumentation

  • Familiarity with GxP environments and data review

  • Strong technical, documentation, and collaboration skills

  • Digitally and technologically proficient with a commitment to continuous learning
