We are hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support a high-volume hospital pharmacy setting. This role works under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist and plays a critical part in ensuring accurate medication preparation, labeling, and distribution to support patient care.

Location: San Bernadino County, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, M-F
Contract: 3-Month Assignment
Rate: $24-28/hr (OT eligible)
 

Key Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions under the supervision of a Pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Mix and prepare pharmaceutical compounds and sterile/non-sterile preparations as assigned
• Count, measure, and package tablets, capsules, and other medications accurately
• Generate and apply prescription labels
• Assist with medication distribution and inventory control
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards
• Support pharmacy workflow to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of pharmacy technician experience (hospital experience strongly preferred)
• Active California Pharmacy Technician license
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication handling procedures
• Experience with automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software preferred
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
