Join our team to develop new formulations, run lab testing, and execute method validations in a collaborative, innovative environment. Gain hands-on experience with chromatography, cGMP practices, and pilot production trials while making an impact from concept to reality.

Pay: $25-$30/hr
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
Type of Job: Contract to permanent
Location: Columbus, IN

Formulation Development Chemist Daily Tasks: What you will do:
  • Prepare and handle laboratory solutions and reagents safely.
  • Support the development and implementation of cleaning procedures for lab and production equipment.
  • Operate, maintain, and clean R&D and production equipment used in trials.
  • Conduct routine testing and evaluation of products in development.
  • Coordinate sample shipments to external testing laboratories as needed.
  • Assist with pilot batching and filling line trials.
  • Record and analyze experimental data, observations, and results accurately.
  • Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and documentation in compliance with GMP standards.
  • Follow all cGMP and safety regulations, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Formulation Development Chemist Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
