Our client, a company at the forefront of the personal care sector, is seeking a Product Safety Specialist (Regulatory Toxicology) to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work with an organization specializing in the creation of sustainable ingredients that support overall well-being, beauty, and health! 

Overview
Leads product safety, toxicology review, and global regulatory compliance across the portfolio. Partners with R&D, Marketing, and Operations to support compliant product development and commercialization.

On-site in Philadelphia, PA (3 days/week)
 

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and integrate applicable U.S., EU, and Asian regulations into product development and lifecycle management.

• Conduct safety and toxicological risk assessments for raw materials and formulations.

• Create and maintain compliant SDS and supporting regulatory records.

• Advise on product claims, regulatory strategy, and risk management.

• Monitor regulatory changes and represent the company in industry discussions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biology, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• 7+ years of experience in regulatory affairs and product safety (cosmetics or specialty chemicals).

• Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and compliance processes.
