Pay Rate: $24/hour
Contract Length: 4–6 weeks (Immediate Start)
Schedule: Part-Time | 20 hours per week

A well-established laboratory clinic is seeking a Certified Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant with 2+ years of venipuncture experience to support multiple clinic locations on a short-term contract.

Schedule & Locations

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  📍 Lafyette, LA 

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with minimal patient discomfort

• Accurately identify patients and properly label specimens

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen collection and handling

• Prioritize collections appropriately based on test requirements

• Utilize proper resources for collection and processing of requested tests

• Adhere to all safety, infection control, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen, and HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Current Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification (required)

• 2+ years of hands-on venipuncture experience

• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
