A manufacturing company in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Quality Records Specialist to support documentation review and quality compliance activities. This role focuses on reviewing final documentation before it is sent to customers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP).

Job Title: Quality Records Specialist
Location: Roanoke, VA
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20 – $25 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Review final documentation packages to ensure cGDP compliance before sending to customers
• Identify and correct documentation errors, inconsistencies, or missing information
• Manage and maintain controlled quality documents (electronic and physical records)
• Perform batch record reconciliation and review Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Track and distribute documentation between internal teams and customers
• Assist with quality issue reports, audits, and documentation requests
• Support shipping documentation for first production samples and customer approvals
• Maintain organized records and ensure proper traceability

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of experience in documentation, quality, or manufacturing environments preferred
• Experience working with cGDP documentation practices in a manufacturing facility preferred

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly identify documentation issues
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with ERP or document management systems is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple document workflows and maintain organized records
