We are seeking a Downstream Manufacturing Scientist to support large-scale biologics production in a cGMP manufacturing environment.

Overview
This role focuses on purification processes, scale-up manufacturing, and equipment operations supporting commercial production.
Key Responsibilities

• Execute downstream processing at commercial scale (500L–2000L) in a GMP environment
• Operate and troubleshoot chromatography systems (AKTA Process), TFF, and column systems
• Perform column packing, filtration, and purification processes
• Support engineering and clinical batch execution
• Analyze process data and make real-time adjustments to optimize performance
• Ensure compliance with GMP documentation and batch records
• Lead or support deviations, investigations, and CAPAs
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain production efficiency and equipment performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Biological, or Biochemical Sciences
• 4–5+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical GMP manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with AKTA Process (or similar), chromatography, and TFF
• Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing (500L–2000L preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GMP documentation and batch execution
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
