Opportunity for an R&D Food Scientist to join a growing food & beverage company and have a real impact. This is a great chance to join a smaller R&D team and own the development of new flavor profiles and products.
Position Summary
The Associate Scientist supports the creation of nutrition and dietary supplement products. This role develops benchtop prototypes, conducts testing, maintains the lab environment, and ensures compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

Formulate and batch prototypes; assist with scale-up activities. Assisting with evaluation of materials and development of new and improved flavors

Conduct analytical testing on ingredients and finished products

Maintain laboratory organization, equipment calibration, and inventory

Support innovation efforts with new concepts and flavors

Manage ingredient data and collaborate with production

Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related field preferred
- Laboratory experience required; sensory or flavor development experience a strong preference
