A Brief Overview

The Production Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities on the production floor. Partnering with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse and Compounding to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner and maximum operation efficiency is achieved. Ensuring seamless production processes and facilitating effective communication across teams.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm (some weekend work on occasion) 
Pay: 20/hr.

What you will do
  • Monitor shift activities - provide direct instruction to Line Leads and production personnel, ensure lines are running at rate with correct headcount.
  • Facilitate communication between different departments for synchronized operations.
  • Monitor quality control measures to uphold manufacturing standards.
  • Verifies line startups. Including line balances, bulk and component issuing, and quality clearance.
  • Serve as backup to the Production Supervisor.
  • Manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate resource allocation to maintain optimal production efficiency.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues to minimize downtime
  • Analyze production data to identify areas of improvement.
  • Verifications and sign off on batch record processes.
  • Execution of any reworks due to NCMR’s issued by quality.
  • Reviews production boards hourly and addresses issues on the packaging lines.
  • Facilitates material flow through production. Component acquisitions and line returns.
  • Some duties may vary slightly by location.

Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma (Preferred) or
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent. BS / BA would be a plus but not required (Preferred)

Experience Qualifications
  • 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment. (Preferred)

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees (High proficiency)
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations (High proficiency)
  • Working in teams and with limited supervision (High proficiency)

  • Collaboration Skills (High proficiency)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Medium proficiency)
