Our client is seeking a California-licensed Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding operations.

Job Description:
The technician will prepare, package, and compound IV and injectable medications - including hazardous and chemotherapy drugs - while ensuring full compliance with standards and institutional safety protocols.

Pay: Up to $27/hr
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Location: Irvine, CA

Key Duties:

• Prepare and compound IV and injectable medications
• Package and label medications accurately
• Handle chemotherapy and other hazardous drugs safely
• Follow USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Work in a sterile/cleanroom environment using proper aseptic technique
• Wear required PPE (gown, gloves, mask, etc.)
• Support daily compounding (5–6 hours in sterile environment)

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Active California Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
• At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy technician experience (sterile compounding preferred)

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary vocational training or foreign pharmacy school education accepted
