Lab Cample Coordinator 
Location: New Jersey (Driving required) 

Contract: 6 months+

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented professional for a driving-focused support role combining logistics, inventory management, and laboratory support. This position requires regular travel between sites and hands-on operational responsibilities in a lab setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport materials and supplies between Skillman, Summit, and Fort Washington, NJ as needed

• Ensure safe handling and timely delivery of laboratory products and equipment
• Manage daily inventory of lab consumables, including restocking and organization
• Place and process orders using barcode scanning systems
• Monitor inventory metrics such as inventory turns, overhead, and customer expenditures
• Receive, unpack, and organize incoming shipments; dispose of packaging appropriately
• Perform routine product counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Collect, clean, sterilize, and return laboratory glassware and equipment
• Operate autoclaves and specialized cleaning equipment for sanitization
• Perform deep cleaning and decontamination of lab spaces, including biohazard waste handling
• Maintain consumable stock locations to ensure consistent availability
• Chemically inactivate equipment prior to maintenance or disposal
• Conduct weekly laboratory safety audits and document findings
• Maintain and inspect safety equipment (e.g., eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, fume hoods)
• Report equipment malfunctions and initiate repair work orders
• Maintain accurate records in physical and digital logbooks
• Execute cleaning and safety protocols per client-specific SOPs

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, laboratory environments, or customer service
• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record! 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow strict safety procedures
• Comfortable working in a lab setting and handling cleaning protocols
• High School Diploma
