Position Overview

We are partnering with an established manufacturing organization to place a detail-oriented Quality Control Laboratory Technician on their QC team. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational laboratory experience to contribute to a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on wet chemistry skills, strong organizational habits, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments with minimal supervision.
Hours: Wed-Sun 5am- 1:30pm, or Tues-Saturday. Most they will have to work is 3 Saturdays out of the month. | Type: 6-month contract to hire | Location: Onsite in Chino, CA 


What You'll Do

  • Perform routine laboratory testing including pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and other required analyses on QC samples
  • Support the review and approval process for in-process and finished goods samples
  • Compile and transcribe analytical data for Certificate of Analysis (CoA) release
  • Type and issue Finished Goods Certificates of Analysis accurately and on time
  • Properly label specimens and route them to the appropriate departments
  • Assist with shipping and receiving functions for the QC laboratory as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, equipment, and supplies
  • Uphold all GMP guidelines and safety requirements within the work environment

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of formal laboratory experience required
  • Wet chemistry background strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent clerical and time management skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions in a fast-paced setting with limited supervision
  • Comfortable transitioning between tasks efficiently without loss of quality or output
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills; ability to accurately document and transcribe laboratory data
