We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to join a growing medical device manufacturing team. This role is responsible for inspecting components, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Location: Santa Rosa, CA (Onsite)
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM start (4x10 schedule)
Pay Rate: $23.00 – $26.00/hour

What You’ll Do

  • Perform detailed inspections of components, tooling, subassemblies, and finished products using standard measurement equipment
  • Identify nonconforming materials and support disposition activities (rework or rejection)
  • Execute inspections in accordance with established procedures and quality standards
  • Accurately document inspection results following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Maintain inspection records and controlled documentation with high accuracy
  • Review Device History Records (DHRs) to ensure completeness and compliance
  • Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment and fixtures
  • Conduct product testing to verify performance and quality standards
  • Partner cross-functionally with production and quality teams
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work within a cleanroom environment while adhering to all protocols

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–6 years of Quality Control experience, ideally within medical device manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with measurement tools such as, microscopes, CMM, Instron testers, calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, snap gauges.
  • Strong understanding of: Good Documentation Practices (GDP) & Quality documentation (DHRs, inspection plans, drawings, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

Education

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred
