This position supports a 24/7 manufacturing operation on a rotating night shift schedule. The Manufacturing Associate provides hands-on operational support for equipment preparation, cleaning, and cell culture manufacturing activities.
 

Location: West Greenwich, RI
NIGHT SHIFT - 12-hour shifts, days rotate

• Week 1: Wednesday & Thursday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay Rate: $28/hr
Type: Contract (Potential to extend or convert)

Job Duties

• Perform equipment breakdown, cleaning, and preparation following SOPs
• Operate and maintain manufacturing and cell culture equipment
• Steam and sanitize equipment using autoclaves
• Prepare and standardize analytical equipment per SOPs and methods
• Perform routine monitoring and sampling of cell culture processes
• Move materials and equipment using pallet jacks and other tools
• Ensure compliance with GMP guidelines and safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation, including batch records and logs
• Identify clean/dirty hold times and ensure proper equipment status
• Support team-based manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Hands-on manufacturing, mechanical, or technical experience
• Biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing exposure (cell culture preferred)
• Familiarity with GMP environments and documentation practices
• Experience with LIMS, DeltaV, or electronic batch records
• Mechanical aptitude (automotive, military, or equipment assembly backgrounds)
