Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing/Packaging Technician to continue their career in downstream/upstream manufacturing. This role will be with one of our top biopharma clients with a global footprint in both R&D and manufacturing!

Schedule: Weekly rotation 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Location: Chicago, IL

Pay Rate: $25-$32/hr

Responsibilities:

• Inspect the packaging line and clear it as needed
• Set up and operate labeling, blister packaging, check weigher, serialization, aggregation, tamper-evident, and cartoning machines
• Calibrate weighing equipment
• Clean and sanitize all packaging area equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with GMP standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related field
• 6+ months of GMP and FDA-regulated environment experience required; 2–3 years of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical experience preferred
• Experience working with syringes or injectables preferred
• Experience operating packaging equipment such as labeling machines, auto-cartonators, blister packaging machines, and serialization (track & trace) systems
• Familiarity with autoinjector assembly and labeling processes
• Strong knowledge of GMP and experience working in regulated environments (e.g., US FDA, MHRA)
• Understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Injectable manufacturing experience (pre-filled syringes, packaging operations preferred)
